I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Msgr. Ambrose Pitchaimuthu on his appointment by His Holiness Pope Francis as the new Bishop of Vellore. This is a moment of immense joy and gratitude for the Church in Tamil Nadu, and especially to the Diocese of Hosur, who join in celebrating this special calling entrusted to him.
Msgr. Ambrose’s dedicated service as Executive Secretary to the CCBI Commission for Proclamation and as Director of the Pontifical Mission Organizations has prepared him well for this noble mission. His unwavering commitment and deep faith has been a source of strength, and through his spiritual leadership, the Diocese of Vellore will continue to grow in faith, love, and unity. We look forward to a strong and supportive relationship between our dioceses as we work together in the spirit of Christ’s mission.
May the Risen Lord bless him abundantly as he takes on this new ministry. May he continue to be a beacon of hope, strength, and inspiration, bringing the light of Christ to countless souls.
